La Puente High School’s Public Safety Academy was named a National School of Excellence by the Law and Public Safety Education Network (LAPSEN) — one of only eight programs in California to receive this honor for its outstanding career preparation, industry partnerships, and student leadership in public service. AP Access Award by the College Board
The AP School Honor Roll recognizes schools whose AP programs are delivering wide-reaching results for their students and Marshall Fundamental has received this honor by demonstrating a clear and effective commitment to equitable access to advanced coursework. This award is anchored in research-based relationships between AP Exams and college outcomes.

La Puente High School earned national recognition from the College Board as an Honorable Mention Gaston Caperton Inspiration Award (Honorable Mention) recipient for expanding access to Advanced Placement courses and fostering a strong culture of academic excellence and equity.
