Mt. San Antonio College TRIO Upward Bound is a FREE federal program designed to support first-generation and/or low-income students graduate from high school and pursue a higher education. The program provides opportunities for participants at La Puente High School to succeed in their education by offering academic services such as tutoring, mentorship, financial guidance, cultural enrichment activities and much more that improve educational access and retention.

How to Apply

• If you are interested in participating in the Mt. San Antonio College TRIO Upward Bound Program and you are a student at Ganesha High School or La Puente High School and you meet the eligibility requirements, please complete the following steps below.

  Step 1: Complete Online Application & Upload Required Documents
  • Online Application
  • Autobiographical Essay
  • Teacher Recommendation Form
  • Unofficial Transcripts
  Step 2: Admissions Review
  • Staff will review online application.
  • If applicant meets eligibility, student and parent/guardian will be invited for an interview.
  • If accepted OR not accepted to the program, applicant will be notified by a phone call and/or email.
